History
The Metropolitan Karate Academy was established in 1988 by Master Curtis Butler Jr., who at the time was a 3rd Degree Black Belt. The MKA has produced over 50 Black Belts, and has trained hundreds of young people and adults.

More Than Just a Karate School
MKA teached North American Freestyle Karate and Tang Soo Do, which consists of traditional karate, sport karate, and self defense. These three elements blend to produce a well rounded martial artist. more
